Students after winning medals on Annual Sports Day

Prize winners of IT Dept.

 The annual sports function of our college was held on the last Wednesday in our college ground. On that day, the atmosphere of the college took a festive look. A great interest was observed among the students and the teachers. All of them came in a large number to enjoy the sports program. Honorable Principal was the chief guest. The guests arrived at 9.30 am. Before the events began, the names of the competitors were called out. The students were lined up. There were several sports events such as 100 m racing, 200 m racing, 400 m racing, relay race, javelin throw, shot put throw, discus throw. From our dept. we got three prizes in 100 meter race, 200 m race and relay race. Overall our dept. became 2nd runner up. The guests were highly pleased at our performance. They encouraged us to take part in sports and games. Then the name of the prize winners were announced. The winners were awarded prizes by the chief guest. They became very happy for getting the prizes. After the sports, the Principal inspired the students in his short speech. The sports program ended at 6.00 p.m. The Principal declared one day holiday on the following day with thanks to all.
